Sources and verification

NVIDIA Newsroom confirms that GTX 970 cards were available on 2014-09-18. NVIDIA's specification page publishes one 4 GB GDDR5 configuration, a 256-bit interface and 224 GB/sec. NVIDIA's later official explanation says the upper 512 MB is segmented with reduced bandwidth. The schema cannot encode that topology, so 224 remains only as NVIDIA's published headline value and no per-segment bandwidth is invented. NVIDIA publishes 145 W under Graphics Card Power (W); the structured field follows the repository NVIDIA convention and labels it TGP. Exact reference dimensions are 4.376 inches high, 10.5 inches long and Dual-width. Metric length and width remain absent because the reviewed first-party source does not publish them and this research does not calculate values. Dual-width is represented as two slots. The image context comes from a reviewed owner-supplied local ASUS manufacturer image and is not asserted by these specification sources.
