Report a correction

A clear correction report helps SpecMatchup verify and update the public catalog without replacing one unsupported claim with another.

What to send

Include the exact SpecMatchup page URL, the disputed field or image, the expected correction and a public supporting source. An official manufacturer or board-partner page is preferred when one is available.

Correction review process

  1. The report is matched to the current public record and source.
  2. The disputed value is checked using the published source priority.
  3. A confirmed correction is recorded with the evidence that supports it.
  4. The visible last verified date changes only after the full displayed record is rechecked.

While a report is unresolved

A submission is not published as fact on its own. Conflicting or incomplete evidence remains under review and an uncertain value stays omitted until it can be supported.
